Effective date: November 7, 2026. This policy explains what ISTPROS LLC (“ISTPros,” “we”) collects when you use industrialsecuritytraining.com, how we use it, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, username and password (stored encrypted).
- Company details: the company name you buy seats under, and which employees and group leaders belong to it.
- Training records: courses you are enrolled in, progress, quiz results, completion dates and certificates.
- Purchase details: billing name, email, country and order history. Card and bank details are entered directly with our payment processors (Stripe and PayPal) and are never stored on our site.
- Messages you send us through the contact form or email.
- Technical data: cookies needed to keep you logged in and remember your cart, basic security and spam-prevention data (for example Cloudflare Turnstile), and site statistics.
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, dates of birth, clearance levels or other sensitive personal information, and you should not enter them.
How we use it
- To create your account, deliver courses and issue certificates.
- To let your company’s group leaders (usually your FSO) see your enrollment, progress, completion dates and certificates so they can keep training records.
- To process payments, send receipts and provide customer support.
- To send account emails such as welcome messages, password resets and training reminders.
- To keep the site secure and improve it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: your company’s group leaders (training records for their company only); service providers who run the site for us, such as hosting, email delivery, payment processing (Stripe, PayPal) and security; and authorities when required by law.
How long we keep it
Contractors are required to keep records of security training (32 CFR 117.12(k)), so we keep training records and certificates for as long as your account or your company’s account is active and for three years afterward, unless you ask us to delete them sooner and no legal requirement prevents it.
Your choices
You can update your profile at any time from your account. To request a copy of your information, a correction or deletion, contact us using the details below. If your company manages your account, we may need to coordinate with your company’s FSO.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for logging in, checkout and security, and cookies that help us understand site usage. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the site (like logging in) will not work without them.
Children
This site is for professionals and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
